“The Americas is the region in the world that has most developed the issue of biofuels, both in production and in use or consumption. The region’s average in terms of mandatory ethanol-gasoline blends is 18%, far higher than any other region in the world,” said regional bioethanol consultant for the US Grain Council, Federico Salcedo, who, together with three international experts, analyzed the situation in the IICA en Acción podcast.

(Colombia has advanced 60.6% in climate action by 2030).

The executive director of the Argentine Maize Bioethanol Chamber, Patrick Adam, highlighted the advantages of this development. “Biofuel is a word that involves many actors, sectors and raw materials”.
